Start from the merchant

If Telecel Cash appears in the official cashier, compare the wallet number and order amount before proceeding. Older instructions may still mention Vodafone Cash; do not reuse an old menu sequence or merchant code.

Trace a mismatch

A Telecel Cash record and a merchant cashier record answer different questions. Keep both IDs. Ask Telecel about the wallet status and the merchant about allocation to your account.

Your guide says Vodafone Cash but your wallet says Telecel Cash

Treat the old name as a clue to check the source date. Open the current Telecel service and the operator’s own cashier independently. Confirm that both describe the route you intend to use; the fact that an old article names a predecessor does not validate its codes or instructions.

If the cashier offers only a legacy label and support cannot confirm it, leave the payment unstarted.
